Dude I'm going to get philosophical now...

Someone once wrote about the guy who trained for years to swim the channel. Family, work, injuries and all got in the way. Finally he started his marathon swim, currents swept him this way and that, often backwards. Always followed by HIS little support boat edging him on (think your 'followers'). Finally after a long battle he sees the French shore.

Don't give up now fella', you've done all the hard work and created something unique, that is yours.

Anyways, we won't let you back in the boat!

Paul,
Sorry to hear about all the sh!t you've just been through :( Hope it all turns out right in the end. As said above, you've come this far through other set backs, both personal/family and with things going t!ts up with the bus and still come out with grit and determination.
The latest stuff is a setback - a couple of big setbacks - but with the will you and your dad have shown to get this far I'm sure you can bounce back. We're all rootin' and tootin' for ya so you've got to get it finished or we'll lynch you and make you run the quarter mile at the Pod in just your pants
Its (half) a result that you got to the unit when you did so your stuff was still there. Once you're up and running again (you and a new unit) I'm sure you'll get back into it :) Don't be tempted to sell it when you've come so far and got so little left to do, you'll regret it when you see that big empty space in the garage.
Hope it all pans out mate, come find me at a show and we'll have a beer together  I might even let you sit in my drivers seat and make "broom broom" noises

Cheers, Lee.

Thanks for helping me decide to keep her again when I had my wobble mate. I will be sure to put the updates on when I start working on her again.

I think that's a pretty hotly contested title

Great to hear you kept it and looking forward to seeing you back in action

Just read this through, hopefully you’ve come through the worst of it and think about the end product, (took me 7 years)
finally looking forward to this show season.

Wow, just read through the whole thread. (I’m new to splits). I hope you and your Dad are well now. I look forward to seeing your beautiful van progress to completion. 🤘🤘🤘

No matter what life throws at you bro keep at it. Been in the wars myself and if there is one thing that keeps me going is seeing my bus up and running. My cousins bug took him ages to do and he's just finished and in VolksWorld (Ludicruz) Sept 2018. My bus has been in storage 20 years of waiting and now the next 5 building.

Never give up, the more life throws at you, fight back. In order to make iron into steel it has to be forged.
