Re: My 1965 custom bus the VWheelmasters - red9 handbrake issue HELP

Post by bushi » Wed Oct 09, 2019 10:14 am

So I posted a request for HELP for the Red9 suspenion on facebook, which I will copy here:

Dear SSVC community! You may have seen I posted my bus for sale (fact), but even if I sell it (which I probably won't) I need to get 1 ongoing issue fixed. I NEED YOUR HELP. I have seen various posts about people dealing with the Red 9 Design rear suspension hand-brake problem, but I have not seen 1 clear solution. It is now obvious that the manufacturer (red9) will not give any proper support with this. And I have decided to push this to the end, I want to find a fix and use the suspension I bought for ridiculous money. Let's start a thread and keep it serious, there is no need for blame and shame of red9 or hi-spec let's focus on what are the alternatives to fix what they have incorrectly designed and sold to many of us. I have stayed positive in the past few years, and will keep up this mentality and have a solution that we can all benefit from as owners of this setup. So let's put our heads together and see who's got a solution! Compare them and discuss what would be best. Thanks in advance for your help.

Please share any threads or links available here on SSVC that I can read and learn from.
