One of the last RHD Split Screens sold in the UK registered on 30th May 1967 with Devon conversion.
Highly original interior and 1500cc original engine. Creative Steering Rack and front Disc Brakes. Stainless Steel Head lamps
Full VW stamped service book up to 86,983 miles (!967 to 1988/9) and practically every MOT certificate from 1970 onwards
Full restoration carried out 2004 with 134,000 miles covered and less than 5,000 miles added in the last 16 years.

The interior is what you would expect after 53 years and would benefit from new roof lining and door cards. The original pop top roof has been replaced with a sliding fabric roof which is leak free however the original Dudley Stove and cool tax are still in place as well as the full Devon interior fittings.

Hi Gerald
Not sure what you are seeing in the photo of the underside but happy to take some more photos for you today and will send these by pm as I think I have maximum number of photos on the For Sale Board.
The van was serviced by a local VW specialist last year and has only done maybe 100 miles since then. I can only assume they may have been a bit heavy with the grease gun.
Certainly nothing is being covered up with grease/under seal and hopefully this will be clearer when I get some photos over.
I think any under seal would have been applied at the time the vehicle underwent a restoration in 2004 and the previous owner seems to have had the underside part wax oiled again in 2007 when new suspension was fitted as far as I can see from his records. I have not undersealed the van since I have had it.

Sorry Gerald forgot to deal with the documents question
Yes all documents available, V5, service history from 1967, Mot certificates (complete set from 1970 I think) invoices for practically everything that has ever been done on this van since 1967 all here
