Hi Guys,

I just installed a Tune + and haven't a clue what I'm doing, but I've got the engine running.

If I'm understanding the general consensus, having rotated the dizzy counterclockwise until the little green light comes on, I do up the clamp and don't move the physical location of the dizzy any more????

I didn't understand the moving of it to get the wires in a nice place as it seemed to me that when the engine was at tdc, it would only go in in one orientation, which I'm not that happy with as the vacuum pipe is pointing 180 degrees from where I'd like it to be.......

Now the curves.......

I got the app to read a curve, presumably what it's actually doing. I've copied Jim's readings from previous threads above and saved it to app.

How do I make the system use this curve?

All the gear, no idea

Just follow the booklet.

Put the dizzy roughly where you want it, then rotate to set the LED. That's TDC and #1 sorted.

Then press the icon to send it to the dizzy. Takes thirty seconds.

I couldn't work out how you get to orient the dizzy in any other position. I would've liked it so the vac nipple pointed towards the carb, but in order to get the light to illuminate, it had to be rotated away....

Steve, keep rotating the dizzy until the light comes back on again. There's a pickup every 90 deg.

Hi Karl and thanks, I wondered if that might be the case.

I'll have another play at the weekend
