Gear box nose cone

Hi all does any one know if I can take the nose off the gear box in situ or has it got to come out thanks

It would be a right PITA to try do that.
Supplying quality in house designed items plus parts from SyncLink, Kennedy Clutches, & CB Performance. Also fitting service including modifications & mechanical upgrades.

Managed to do in situ but whats going on in my gear box looks like water ingress

Have you managed to remove the nosecose completely, or just unbolt it and look inside?

I had to disconnect the rd box's if I had disconnected the brake flexes it would have came out

It turns out the thick nasty sludge was stopping forth from being selected so when I actually got forth I recon the sellector moved hence I couldn't get it out of forth I can select all gears now and quite smoothly

That's a result.

PITA to do with all the gearbox / brakes etc attached.

Think I've got that job to do, as I think the hockey stick has snapped. Thankfully its an IRS bus, so it could all slide back easier than yours as loom as all the loom / EFI connections have enough slack.
