Rocker shaft mounting block + conrods - stock

Post by vwJim » Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:49 pm

Over Christmas I had a tidy up and decided I had far too much stuff sitting around not being used, so I've been tinkering with an old engine that was broken down years ago / no history of it.

In the cleaning up I've found one rocker arm oil gallery is blocked, which I suspect caused the closest mounting block to crack.

So I'm after a stock rocker shaft mounting block. Possibly a stock rocker arm too, (I've not stripped it fully to see if it's salvageable.

Also, this engine is missing its conrods, so if you have a set / part set that are gathering dust I'd be interested please.

What size motor is it? I have the spare rocker bits you need and some conrods. £20 posted

Its a 1641cc as it's had the conversion B+P's fitted in the past. Single port heads.

If your parts match, that sounds good to me.
