Burt 67 11 window

Post by BlastingDiePast » Mon Dec 03, 2018 6:34 pm

Here is Burt a late lhd Splitscreen.

We pulled this from its hiding place last weekend, it’s been sat for 8 years in a barn in the U.K. since being imported from California.

Needs only the rear corners the battery tray, dent in the nose pulling and a few sections of cargo floor apart from that it is solid, no chassis rot, Swartz or sealant, pudding etc

Full repaint then a rebuild with new parts, it has a balljoint front beam which looks to have been almost factory fitted...

Anyway this will have a huge amount of detailing and time spent panel beating rather then replacing panels.

Super solid chassis! Only issues are the ones we knew about and a couple of pin holes.

The rear corner damaged has effected the drivers long panel just at the very end just below the bottom vent so that’s coming out and the wheel arch straightened out, rear corners off and battery tray out. New long panel section found and cut ready and we are almost ready to weld up the rear end.
