Why did I ever give it up..........

Post by Rocket Ron » Sat Nov 10, 2018 8:46 pm

Just been going down memory lane looking at my add on here back in 2008.......ten years ago...and I'm still asked even now to do work for people on there cars and such.....why did I ever give it up.
I've taken note of all the people having problems with Units out there set up to help, restore and promote there buseness but failing so miserably but why.......the climate is strong for good work, plenty of people out there want you to work on there pride and joy only to find the bank account being emptied and the dream you had, many had, is lost to a bad recommendation or a convincing selling ploy.
With no business sense and limited funds my wife and I had a desire and through everything we had thrown at us we stayed on track with what we believed in and in time it started to come good.
Do we consider opening up a shop again, do we........

Tell us...............will VW Endangered Species live again.......

Let's see.....

Well,
Ron you always had a character trait so often missing in others and the cause of their downfall...

You were honest trustworthy and honourable..

Seems to a key ingredient in those who prosper and missing in those who .... ahem ... go under .. or is that take a dive, tie tge losses jnto the company closure and disappear with the loot and start up called something else under a new name.. To continue to fleece the next wave of the honest..
I have only recently had a pause in working and so want to be back in harness..
In all dealings I have had with you..I have found you a pleasure to deal with..
