Replacement engine

I'm looking for a replacement engine for my 64 Split, it currently has a (broken) 1500 single port.

Without having to upgrade anything, (gearbox/brakes) what size engine can I put in and can anybody recommend or have experience of a good engine builder/supplier ?

Tell us what's wrong with the single port. Are the heads ok? Is it possible to rebuild your existing engine?

Hi, one of the best for work and experiance is Jhon (speedwheels) he will also give you good advice and is a nice bloke to boot, hope this helps Eddy.
