Roo Shooter gets a 14.4 at the 1/4 mile drags

A place for BWA'ers, wannabee's or just those with a 'passing' interest in straight line speed. (You see what we did there?)

Roo Shooter gets a 14.4 at the 1/4 mile drags

Post by rhddlxbd »

Just a heads up on some australian bus drag action, we achieved 14.4 with our 2.8 type 4 57 panel running for the very first time. Our engine is normally aspirated running 51.5 ida;s with scat split heads, to date this is the fastest split bus in australia and hope to get it down into the 13's possibly this weekend at the Sydney Jamboree drags at Eastern creek. The biggest buzz is blowing away v8's in our rat look panel..will send a link from youtube with our in car footage..cheers from the land downunder stephen muller you can type in roo shooter -eastern creek-march 2011 for some in car footage cheers

That's the nuts 8) 8)
I once had a 32 ford with a 390 ford in it (called clockwork orange), did the same 1/4 mile times.
Very Fast, love to do the same in a bus!!

Cheers,
Dom.
