Bit too close to the end of the build for me. Need to put some miles oni t before the rollers and then the strip...later on in the year me thinks.

I've done a couple with the engine straight out of the crate and untuned, twin westy roofracks and full microbus interior with a massive headwind (big bang last year) I got a best of 14.8 @92mph. It was only putting out 166bhp at that point. I blew a barrel apart and haven't run since. The engine is now tuned well and over 300hp @1bar, it goes substantially faster now

I ran my bus up the strip last year at Eurobuggin and at the pod at vw action and i ran in a standard 1600gt box which ran fine but i did wonder if it would last so ive changed it now for a cog box one
