IOM 09 ****May Bank Holiday*****
Circle Yer Wagens is returning !
Circle Yer Wagens 2009
This is an open invitation by the Isle of Man Vdub Club to explore the Isle of Man this late May Bank Holiday.
In 2008 the IOMVDubClub organised a one-off event on the Island to encourage fellow Volkswagen minded folks to the Island. We organised a campsite and entertainment along with a discount with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. The event was a huge success with lots of requests for us to run it again this year, so we have 
We are keeping the venue the same this year, a small family run campsite at Barregarroo, Kirk Michael. The owners where so impressed with the atmosphere last year that they have not only jumped at the chance to do it again but also stored all our bales for the year so we will have something to sit on…
We have again organised a discount with the Steam Packet, The all inclusive price for the Bank Holiday weekend will be £199. This is the total price for 2 Adults and a vehicle on the ferry, 3 nights camping and entertainment.
This year the Steam Packet are taking a more active role in the bookings so you just need to contact them to book the whole weekend, they will take care of any extras such as children etc. You are welcome to extend your stay either before or after the weekend you just need to tell the Steam Packet your travel dates and times. The price will still be the same but you will need to sort out your accommodation for any nights other than the 3 at the campsite. You are welcome to stay at Cronk Aashen where the event is being held or maybe stay at another campsite or crash at friends!
This is a great price for a great weekend – don’t miss it!
Dates for the Irish contingent would be Thu 21st May returning Sun 24th May. (Fewer boats to Ireland)
The optimum Ferry for everyone travelling from Liverpool or Heysham (near Lancaster) would be arrive IOM Fri 22nd May and return Mon 25th May. Boats from Liverpool and Heysham are twice daily from both ports so this gives you more flexibility.
To book, call the Steam Packet Holidays Team on 08457 585833

Not yet Billy, all I can say is it will be a lot warmer and a smoother crossing is guaranteed

we are also looking into the best possible discounts and dates available on the ferries which also don't clash with other events

I would be well interested in this as I lived on IOM for a while and have some great friends there.
Presuming of course any trip will be open to "new additions " ?

If the dates & the money line up me & Clare are on for it, everyone raved about it last year.
Awards for the slowest/fastest round the TT course, or am I missing the point
Only because I've never had the b4lls to do it on two wheels
Keep us informed, Ta Blakey
