i have a 65 so42 westy and mine has got to have the very same panels replaced as you have done. it's looking scary on the drive at the moment but will be cool when it's finished. yours is lookiong great and has given me hope of the final result. well done it looks a cracker.

I was going to come and say hello, I looked out for your van, but didn't see it all weekend. Then saw it this afternoon (about 12:30?) as you were leaving. Fairly sure it was your van anyway.

I thought it was but you were too far away as you were leaving. Didn't get down til later on Saturday, we were camped up by the fire. Took the camper for it's last run, new owners picking it up on Tuesday
My old pulley had surface rust and pitting where the belt ran so it was time to replace it, at first I bought a stock Brazilian pulley from German and Swedish and a new belt. However this ran off-centre by about 5mm and there was a droning noise when I got to 50mph!!! I decided to buy and fit a Scat pulley. This is an excellent piece of kit, it runs true, has allowed me to fit a new belt with no problems and seemingly has made the engine a little more perky!!!

Having my cab seats freshend up by Steve and Jo at http://www.vwinteriors.com/' I have stripped the seat covers, repaired a broken spring and am repainting the frames.
Are you having stock covers trimmed back on or something else... be nice to see what work they do... i'll need my bench seat in my 54 recovered in stock 54 black vinyl.... wonder if they can do it.
