My new addition to the family

Post by kevsplitty » Sun Jul 24, 2011 6:45 pm

Been looking for one for a long time & thanks to a mate off here heard about this one a while ago, managed to see it at the weekend The original owner bought it when it was 18months old & used it on his farm for light use only, then stored it in his barn where it sat & brought it home.
over 20yrs.The fella i got it off knew the owner, hes had it about 3 yrs & done most of the repairs it needed.Just needs tidying up but im well chuffed.
Its a 65 genuine uk ,done 58k from new,has original 1500 single port engine, even got a rare parking light accessorie on the rh side, completely stock & i love it.Been told its quite rare as the previous owner says he has'nt seen another about, dont know whether he right or not. Heres

Yeah. Keep it stock Kev.
The only thing you need to do is get rid of that ugly knob behind the steering wheel.
