So after 6 in line fuel filter changes and a few self attempts at cleaning the tank my self I have had to seek prof help- I took it to city radiator services ( Bilston 01902 496514) who chemically sorted out my rust inside the petrol tank , alot of rust came out , real pleased with there work

Hi yes its original to the bus , had issues before VF with carb and petrol pump so will need to sort , then replace blue coil and make wiring a little neater.

Are you a member of the vw club of singapore ?
Sorry missed the reply, there's a couple of groups here, we meet up for beers occasionally or a mini cruise (Singapore ain't that big!), but mostly involved in UK and Australia (have cars in all places).

Congrats again on the job you've done.

who wants usefulness or practicality in a vehicle as opposed to old, technologically outdated, unreliable, under powered, over priced "vans". They are not exactly the definition of "useful" under any circumstance
We drive/like these 'cause they just look cool. Nothing else.

2012 is the show season for rain - nearly every time I take the hitop out it lashes it down - with Phil at stonor ( that's what a shoddy winner is)
