Hi everyone i'm new'ish boy to the ssvc.
Got myself a 1962 splity 2 years ago from uraguay,Not done much to it apart from stripping
it all down.

Hi guys,

Managed to get my bus to the garage on the weekend.
Well happy, now that I can finally make a start!!
But where do I start every time I look at it I think what the hell
have I got myself in too!!
Some say it will look great, but most say scrap it or use it as a dog house, I say get every panel done save as much money as I can to do it and hope for the best!

Tony c helped me on cutting the cargo floor out so we could see what I was up against!
Not a pretty sight But I have seen worse, I'll put some pics up as soon as my mrs replaces the camera she lost on her weekend pi$$ up

Here are some pics of the work done on the weekend(before i got summoned home) which is a good thing,otherwise i would be there all nite!!

But had to sell my pocket rocket

Tony got peed off with cutting so he went to the other room..






Thats all for now till i get all the bit i need.
need to ring up A schofield for a complete chassi rear end, and autocraft for the rest of the rails.

Hello campers,

Well it's been a few months since my last update. Not because i haven't done anything, Just been a bit lazy loading the pics on.
Plus tony (busbug&kg) keeps shouting at me PUT SOME PICS UP!!!!!!!

So far iv'e cut the old chassis out and managed to get a replacement one out of a 67 i think from cris (snotty)At low E nuff club.
It was a great help to get that section from cris as mine was beyond repair!!

This is the section i got from cris.








As you can see it's been cut in two between torsion bar and the rear outrigger on both sides.
So then i started to clean this up and keep what i wanted to work with.






Few hrs later i was left with this.



Not much hey

More tomorrow.
