Cooker Unit

Post by Bathtub57 » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:25 pm

This was by far the worst unit of them all. Water damaged, hacked around and rusty inside. Kev has made a whole new piece and will fit a removable cooker unit so we can cook inside and outside of the bus.

Crockery Unit

Post by Bathtub57 » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:26 pm

I bought this off Madison a few year backs and it was in good nick but the laminate was cracked in places, it was also pretty ropey inside. Try finding another year correct one though! Mind you Kev could make one up identical.

Agreed on all counts. It's the details now, easicool drip tray, door stay, whale pump, cushion covers, curtains, it goes on.

I believe Mark had plans for Kevin Jackson to fit it all and what an amazing job he would make!

But that will all depend on when Mark finally has everything all in place to have it fitted.. and Kevin has a slot.. !

As many will testify it takes a lot of time, care and patience to get it right and you have to know what you are doing..

I understand Kevin has a very busy year ahead and has already started on his next project..

So if you want items made/ fitted Kevin is your man and he is very much in demand..

He is making pieces for me soon!

Kevin is fitting the interior. We are working on getting a headliner cushion covers and new panels fitted first but everything is there or being made and ready to go in.

Definitely get Kevin to fit your interior. He's a real craftsman. He built our Devon interior for our 65 bus and I opted to fit it myself. Big mistake. It's taken me about 4 weekends and lots of evenings- and I have experience with joinery. I don't regret it though, very satisfying. Just a word of warning if your not experienced with wood.

Yes.. I have removed and refitted and if anything removal is much easier!

You would be well advised to talk to Kevin and get him to fit it all for you..
I talked to RobE quite a bit to attempt to explain and help..
In the end he looks to have achieved a good installation...

uh did you read my post guys? Kevin is fitting the interior. I have removed and refit it twice in the past and know what’s involved. Now its all shiney and new looking I won’t take the risk knowing my levels of patience.

Let me know on the curtains G ;-)
