My oh my, how times flies....A lot has happened since I last updated, but the main thing is - the project rolls on relentlessly! It got held up with a painter who turned out to be a b#llshi##ing con-man, but he did some good prep work. It then moved onto a good company who did the final paint. The Sea Blue is a good shade, slightly more green in real life, but a pretty good match i reckon....

Spent the last couple of Saturdays undersealing and soundproofing, tomorrow it's new brake lines.

Progress....

Love what you are doing / have done with this bus! 15" rims look great on a late bus and so nice to see crossplys.

Cheers mate and well spotted! It's the only "non-standard" thing i'm doing, as I like it to stand tall - those wheel arch's should be filled up! The crossplys are 670's too, so slightly taller than 640's and with a much greater load rating...

I get stick about the whitewalls from some of the boys but i like them as they add a touch of class - I just tell them "My Ride - My Rules!"

After 6 years she's finally finished (well 99.9%), it's been a painful rebirth, but if only I knew back then what I know now....nevermind, I shall venture forth and enjoy... :)

Cheers for all the positive comments chaps :) The idea was always to have a shiny outside and an interior as original as poss with lots of patina scattered throughout. I never wanted to sand the b'jesus out of the woodwork and have it looking new...had to get new squabs and curtains of course, and for the train spotter's the interior light is now fitted... but all in all it's pretty much how i always invisaged it would look. Would I do it again? - NEVER!
