What did you use for seating fabric? Looks like duracour.

The interior fabric does look spot on. The cushion beading is correctly covered with the same material. Some repro sets have no beading, other conversions in the bay era (Danbury) had plain coloured fabric covering the beading. Your first pictures showed the engine in the back on the rear drawers but no cushions...
Is this modern fabric?
It does look absolutely spot on!
The join in the TMI panels does blend in well...
Nice tiles...Madmatz?
Very very nice...well restored...well executed....

The fabric is duracour "lookalike" which i found locally. It's not perfect but it's not bad and a lovely shade of turquoise (which is one great 60's colour). Yes mad matz tiles, some random polka dot curtain fabric bought on line from the USA, and 60's cosmic spiral cushions to complete the package... i couldn't find any of that tea towel type curtain material that it would have had originally, so went for the dots instead...

Wheels fooled me....I looked and thought .. My that stance is high.... not a scraper...
Roads look like they might need some clearance.
Reminded me of my Fire truck which has increased ride height and mud and snow tyres anyway....
But now I see the 15s with nice full profile tyres.
Scenery looks wonderful.....
Wish my PO who purchased the van had not forgone the Devon awning for a Devon tent.
With a MY pop top anyway the pop top covers the awning rail (the pop top is cut around the rail). I have to have it up.
Looks so cool driving with the rolled up awning......

Yes the awning was a real score! The West Coast is notorious for rain! I try to keep the bus dry and on sealed roads but ....can't always :P

And an empty bank account! :drunken: cheers Archie...

And Graham of course these Devon's should stand tall! They're 670 crossply's so slightly larger and i like them a lot, bit dicey in the wet though

Another one from the trip...

They're bed mates, they sleep next to each other in my garage

It was a 35 degree day at that show, those awnings were invaluable!

Thought so from your signature.....

I was trying to get detailed pictures of the pole table fitting which bolts to the spare wheel for ages. I wanted to make one for my Devonette.
Got a general photo and recognised that it might be too difficult to make from a pressing. In the end I got a type 3 rear brake drum, machined out the bore to fit the pole and parted off the friction surface to leave just the face with wide 5 bolt holes.
Works a treat if not a little heavier than I intended.
