Got a text from Dad to say he's started working on the BD, both front beam hangers are tacked in and the front beam has been blasted so he can test fit. Pics to follow in a week or so   :D

Hi Rich,

Just been looking through the pics on the samba, very nice - its so very close 8) , the beam looks very good condition.
Did your Dad blast that beam at home, if so what did he use or may be i got the wrong end of the stick.

Did you ever get a wiring loom made up? - if you did, who did it?

Cheers

Mark

Hey Mark,

Yep Dad blasted it in the garage using a pressure blaster from http://www.frost.co.uk

Ron is going to make my loom, he did one for my westy and truck, excellent product, he posts on here as Rocket. Just gotta decide on what I want, OG or updated! He's done a few BD looms already I know he did a 51/52 as OG which I think was all the same colour from memory!
