Here in the headlight is the original grease mark from the factory, pretty cool!

Work has started on the BD! It's going to be slow progress I have to balance my time but we made a start! Apologies only had phone with me.

First off is the rear floor, finally fitted the gear stick selecta tube, thanks pye1man.

Cut out and test fitted the Gerson front beam mount.

Right side still to do, but most of it cut out before ran out of discs.

I let in some new metal into the rear corners. Rear corners are dinged and then some. not sure what to do here, not gonna cut out the original metal and not gonna skim, so guess use heat to get a little straighter and then paint!

Hi Rich,
Is that the last of the welding those front beam hangers? Looks mostly there now. My rear corners arnt disimular to yours for straighteness, i think they just reversed till it hit something  !. Pics on your website been very helpfull in doing mine.
Great work, glad to see you have started again.

Cheers

Thanks Mark.

The hangers are tacked in two places. There is a lot of welding to do here including plugging the hangers to the sides etc. Hope to do more in the not to distant future.

You're right Scotty but I havent had time to do anything, we are moving to North Devon and this plus looking for new job, exams, sc etc is getting in the way. I have a plan to get the work sorted, just need to get myself to Devon first,
