Ken’s customs have done such an epic job thanks so much to Keith and Sam especially Sam as he was the one that came up with the Yankee retro looks and put in a proper bit of graft on it. Now it’s off to Richard booth in January for the cabinets then a bit of work lowering and adjusting the ride stiffness, some disc brakes etc.
It’s off to mark Prosser for the day on Tuesday for some electrical additions. Moving along nicely. Berg shifter should be with me any day now too

After having the bus up on the lift and running through the fineries I’ve decided to go through the bus with a fine tooth comb and replace all the bushes in the pedals the steering all the gear linkage stripped and new bushes and guide tubes. Engine out and checked and serviced a few seals replaced, gearbox checked and minor alterations to the shocks shimmed to give a little clearance
The drivers side wheel bearing was bordering on suicidal and the master cylinder leaking so drums are going and on go the csp discs and new duel cylinder. Mat brown of autotecknics has hand made all the required bushes and mark Prosser and mat have gone over the bus and now are more familiar with her than they ever imagined.
New wires fitted ready for second fix of gauges propex split charge system etc
The fuel sender was knackered even though it wasn’t even 3 months old. Another piece of so called German quality crap.
All new cables fitted and a painkiller for my wallet and stage 2 of the project is nearly over.
I’m sure she’s going to ride better than Katie price after a lager shandy by the time I’m finished

Still loving ya bus mate.
What’s the plans for the interior? Hope Mrs P is having some input as you’ve got to sell her the patina bus with tin top before the show season starts

Ha ha Lee well we are in negotiations however it’s ready for pick up from having cabinets done next weekend then I need to put a floor in
I haven’t put a floor in it up to now as I was going to put karndene or amtico in but 3 separate floor layers have told me it expands and contracts in extreme temperatures and as we like to go to Europe in it it does get bloody hot from time to time and in the winter here gets very cold in the batcave so am investigating alternatives, I’m heading off to ninove in it though
