If you're a 'mini' man.
Check out "Project Binky" on YouTube.
As for your bus. Once you get stuck in to it. And have a load of repair/replacement panels, you'll fly it.
Schofields are my recommended supplier of choice.
All The best and I look forward to watching your progress..
Thankyou and yes I've seen binky on YouTube some work gone into that! I haven't seen it finished if it is? Ile check it out cheers Tom

Hi Tom, I'm almost a local... live in Bridgnorth, go to the mini meet at the Whittington occasionally, as said, there are a few of us around locally..... looks like you've got your work cut out there.... hahahahaha. Get stuck in! ✌️

Petrol tank straps are fixed/welded at the back, they only unbolt at the front, then annoy you from there on in.... hahahahaha

Cheers Ted the bolts on the front snapped of so I will need to drill them out and retap the thread. Unless I can drill it out and put a normal nut and bolt on. I'm still learning haha cheers Tom

The tank straps slide into a bracket. Soak them in WD40 & leave them to soak then work them out by wiggling them with a pair of pliers, that's how I got mine out.

Hi dude,

Just seen this thread, I live in wolvo and went to look at that van when my mate was looking for one. I would have been restoring if for him but he bought a 57 in the end. I loved the 59 but the roof put me off a bit.

If you sell the engine I could be interested for my bus.

Good luck with the resto.

Cheers mabbo I looked at a few but this one seemed totally original metal compared to the others that could tell lots of filler. I'm just getting prices atm for someone to weld the panels in for me. And I need to get engine rebuilt or get anouther one for it I will let you know if I decide to sell tho cheers Tom
