It's coming along nicely thanks Jason!

Glad to hear yours is almost there, you must feel really good about saving so much original wood and keeping the character.

I will look forward to seeing pictures of the finished article and hopefully seeing it at a show in the future.

I'll be taking her to busfest where she'll have a hefty price tag on the for sale sign !

Didn't think I'd ever be selling her but if somebody offers the right money then it can be a game changer for me.

Hi J

You will be sad to see her go but you have to do what you have to do! I have sold cars as when needed and if the offer is good you can't refuse!

No doubt you will end up with another split

I can't make any shows this year as baby/vw/work is taking everything at min!

The guys have been busy working on the roof and it's coming on well!!

Quality work as always by Bob, Dick and the boys at Resto Haus. Your bus is in good hands!

I have a 67 Sundial with the unusual dark walnut interior. It may be at Busfest (unless I take the 67 Devon) so you are welcome to come and perv it. Sundial interiors are very simple to make and work really well camped up. I would argue that they match Westies, but are lighter and the bed works a bit better. IMO they feel more 'cabin-in-the-woods' than Westies mainly because Sundials have more wood trim.

1967 Devon from Devon still in Devon
1967 Sundial from Idaho
1971 Westfalia from LA
1971 patina Delux from Montana now living in Germany
1972 Devon now owned by No 1 son!

Hi Brian

Your sundial sounds lovely! My vision for interior is developing and I think it's going to involve more and original sundial design just with the use of different woods! I love the light wood/dark wood effect of old wooden surf boards. But I have said too much!

Feel free to post some pictures of your interior on my thread if you have some!

All the guys at resto Haus are working really hard on the van and it's coming on really well to a very high standard which is awesome!

Can't wait for the first drive!

Hi g

Not been on here of late! Sorry for delayed responses that seat looks cool! But they seem like they won't ship but I will ask whether they will stick it in a box and I can arrange courier.

Thanks for heads up!
