Thanks dude!!

Did another 550 mile round trip to visit the boys and the bus today. Talk turned to tubs

Matt was thrilled.....

I was considerably more happy about progress on the old girl.

Into the big final push now. Still a .... load of fiddly bits to do but it really is taking shape and i'm over the moon.

Total hours worked by Matt & Bob as of today 1280!!!!

Incredible work on a Holy Grail bus. I saw this bus down at Dai's farm when he first had it in the condition of your first few posts. Incredible transformation. A pleasure to watch this restoration.

Following on from Fridays visit Bob & Matt made a start on the tubs. Fronts up first. I think these have turned out incredible. As factory looking as possible!

Very very pleased.

Yesterday at 5 am I also popped to Leeds and back to collect my finished beam. Fully custom built by Mike & Niall from Airevalley Speed shop. Work of art too.

Planning to get this built up over christmas complete and ready to bolt in for when the bus makes its return journey north!

Dude! I don't know what's more impressive, this resurrection or the fact you got Matt to do you tubs
And they look sweeeeeet!!
I guess if you get skilled metal workers who hate tubs to make them, then they will do everything to make them as factory as possible

Looks amazing, really great work being done

And top marks for tubbing it when it would have been easier to please the voice we all hear in our head and our bank balance and our friends and everywhere else except our hearts :)

hahaha thanks guys! I'm already getting .... about doing this. For me I only really like owning them kissing the floor and last time I checked I was the only guy stupid enough to take this on when it was essentially just compost now all of a sudden im upsetting people with my choice of ride height :D :D horses for courses and this old girl is mine and will be scraping its way everywhere. In the future if someone decides to return it to 'proper' height they'll only be replacing repop metal anyway :D
