I've just finished welding chassis up and today I received a big parcel full of goodies from rick at Scofield's if you need any bits just speak to rick he makes a lot more than what is listed on there website and is a really helpful friendly guy who goes that extra mile to make sure you get what you need at a very good price :D

Hey Craig, Cracking job mate.......glad I didnt buy it just a fleeting thought, the best part of a build is where you are with it.......you seem to be having fun........ :-) still got loads to do to my 54.....
I orderded the Klassic fab panel above my gearbox 18 months ago from Etienne Evam Classics and still haven't got it........I posted on Barndoor division last night looking for a donor panel and Gerson was on there. He's going to send one out.......so should recieve it in a week or so.
Looks like mine had a rear ender at some point and mashed up the panel.
So when do you think youll be on the road Volksworld show 2015 maybe.......? Youve got 5 months............

Hi Michael
Having fun is one way of putting things, and not sure when it will be done as I'm doing this in my driveway! I don't want to keep on it all the time and it end up driving me mad lol, plus my other hobby stock car racing is keeping me busy, I'd rather do it once and right, so watch this space

Ordered a hinge repair panel from Evam classic and received it in 3 days, really can't fault these guys, can't believe you had trouble with them Michael, got some por 15 paint and hopefully going to do a bit more Sunday, my plan is to paint the inside of out riggers and centre chassis sections before I weld top hats on, so should last another 50 yrs
Has anyone got any roof supports as mine are rotten and bent please???
