I think we are all going to be needing your services if we (not the vans) last another 30 years
We're working on a project that will allow anyone to convert their bus using components from many different OEM cars... hopefully when you are ready to undertake a conversion it will be 'easy' 8)

Some progress with the displays... we now have some LCD's that fit inside numerous standard instrument clusters and allow us to display electric car data while emulating the look of classic vehicles... here for example are a FIAT 500 and VW Beetle (iirc) design 8)

Great post surely the future for so many ways.
I always thought it would be great to drive your leccy car to work, plug in, charge up for free for at work then bring it home and use it like a battery pack to power your house.

Hi Kevin, We were discussing electric/non fossil fuel powered vehicles today at work. How long do you think it will be before you need a permit or licence to buy petrol for a classic vehicle and old be able to drive it X miles per year to an organised meeting/show ? I reckon around the 25-30 year mark and they’ll start making so hard to get fossil fuels that vehicles such as ours will gradually become so expensive to run that they’ll end up the preserve of the very rich. An interesting and scary prospect as you never really know whether the transport dept etc are telling you the truth or what they want you to hear. I read somewhere today that producing the batteries is massively massively toxic for the environment but don’t really know of that’s true but if it is no one is shouting about it as they’re too busy telling us that out cars are pollution nightmares. But then again they were telling us all to buy diesel cars not long ago yet now they’re telling us that they’re the environmental equivalent of the Amaco Cadiz so how can we trust anything these people say.
Sorry to be a bit tin foil hat :lol: but I do worry that my son will never get to drive my bus :(

Apologies for the lack of updates... we've finally started loading the battery modules into the 'belly' of the bus :D

Playing with the Zero EV instrument cluster displays... the round LCD is a good fit for the split bus and the rectangular display is for an electric DeLorean :D

We've been busy for the last few months preparing six exhibits for the Fully Charge Live show and have made little progress with the bus itself. However, we are making progress with the electronics systems and have just started integrating the rapid charging interface into one of our test cars. Our long term goal is 200 miles recharge in 20 minutes :D

In this video you will see one of my colleagues charging at 50kW DC for the first time on his vehicle;
