If you look at the picture of the adjuster it is actually set at the stock position as the bus has drop spindles fitted.
Stiffer shocks would help, as would lowering the back to suit as it will pivot the steering box back up slightly

Paul
Thanks for that, so much for Kingfisher Kustoms telling me they had raised it a little on the adjuster, closer inspection last night looks like it has been welded up?
Have ordered a set of Spax Adjustble hocks fom CE so will try them on the stiffest setting for t trip to Busfest on Sunday.
if I need to can I wind the beam back up a little on the adjuster? (if I grind off the welds?)

Re: 66 Devon Newbie - Lowered Suspension questions
It looks like those welds are new and it is slightly raised already.
I'd put slightly larger tyres eg 175/55/15 on as it looks like you have slam ones on at the minute that will raise it a bit more

Re: 66 Devon Newbie - Lowered Suspension questions
I have 165/65 R14s on the front at the minute but when loaded and bouncing they touch the wheel tub, hopefully the new shocks will stop this but not sure how much larger I can go on the tyres without it rubbing all the time.

Re: 66 Devon Newbie - Lowered Suspension questions
Spax adjustables arrived today and fitted, set to the hardest setting, bus doesn't seem to drop as low with me standing on it nor when bouncing
!
Give it a proper test on the way to Malvern on Sunday.
Thanks for the help and see you at Busfest!!

Rich,
Let me know how you've got on with those new Spax.

Ran them for a while (post was 2 years ago!) but still bouncy and tyres rubbing the outer arches, now have Monroe Max Air but have a little leak somewhere so have to top it up every week, when full of air pretty solid, when empty it is bouncy bouncy
