Hi all sorry its a bug question
can you fit a lhd master cylinder to a rhd bug?
basicly i have a brand new master cylinder for the correct year bug but it says lhd on the box !!
i can get a rhd one but they are over 75 quid localy to me id rather ask here what the diff is with this part and if its possible i dont mind modding the bug (i have drills and hammers) but i wont attempt to change seals or mod the cylinder
i can look sunday in the day and compare the two just thought id ask here to save me wondering all night and annoying me when im trying to sleep tonight hehe cheers all

You can.
Twist the mc and mount it at 45 degrees or so to it's original position. That should give you space to get the lines in.
You'll need to drill new holes to mount it, but it can be done.

ill have a look tomorrow its my nephews daily bit of a hulk but way better than a saxo yeah !

No worries.
You'd not want to do it on a show car but on a runabout, that's just got to work, it'll save loads as the RHD ones are way more money.
Yes way better than a Saxo for sure.
