What are these wheels?

I will be fitting disk brakes ready for vanfest hopefully but cant decide what stud pattern to go for as i like porsche and wide 5 wheels, could someone tell me what these ones are as i think i'll go with these, and where do you get them?

They look like banded steels

They are stock pre 1965 15" Beetle wheels, which have been banded - (Widened by cutting the outer lip off,welding in an additional metal band all the way round, then the outer lip is welded back on)

Adrian told me they weren't banded [he's local], think the front ones were stock and if I remember right the rears were vw centres into merc rims [or something like that]

I spoke to those guys about modifying VW wheels, and they're method only puts the width on the outside of the wheel, so not so good for clearance to the arches etc.
Supplying quality in house designed items plus parts from SyncLink, Kennedy Clutches, & CB Performance. Also fitting service including modifications & mechanical upgrades.

thanks brian, ive asked for pics so i'll wait and see, if they havnt been done right they can be dangerous cant they?

you buy new from heritage in 4.5 and 5.5 width, not as extreme as the banded one in the pic but you would get the same effect, new for £50 per wheel
