WW Wheel arches, urgent query!

Post by 58splitty » Mon Oct 14, 2019 4:55 pm

Hi, before i go ballistic at a supplier tomorrow, can someone confirm that a left and a right wheel arch would be an identical mirror of each other? And that they always come primered?
Many thanks

Panel quality can vary enormously. Not always primered as a lot come in what looks like black nail varnish... it's not but I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Ive been sent an unprimed panel, completely different pressing, one has up turned lips from the pressing the other doesnt. The spot welds are different sizes on each. The box was plain, yet the other came in a WW printed box. It just screams that its not a WW panel

Photos?

WW panels are grey, not black so I think they've sent an incorrect panel out.

Autocraft used to supply in bare metal, but I thought they'd stopped doing that, plus as far as I know they never made complete arches. So not sure who's panel that would be.

BBT do a lot of panels now and they look to be unprimered in their blog pictures. Could be one of theirs, but their boxes usually have their logo.

Probably from the company that are making the full shells etc. That makes sense.
