Hi all,
I'm mid restoration and have a niggling concern about the clearance between my rear arches and wheels.
I've fitted new long and short side panels that have a different profile on the arch. Additionally, the bus has irs suspension, CSP rear disks and BRM alloys.
Photos of new side panels.
Has anyone else fitted this combination without clearance issues?

Re: Rear arch clearance
I'm not 100% sure what you mean the sides are different to each other or to what you took off?
They look flat early arches....did you have late flaired/lipped arches.
I don't have your exact rear set up but I do have flat arches and getting the wheel off requires the damper disconnecting to allow the suspension to drop enough to squeeze the wheel through.....don't think late arches are so much of a problem. Only running 175 width tyres.
No issues when driving....cannot remember the et of my wheels
Re: Rear arch clearance
Cheers for the information.
Yes took of late arches, repair panel from a previous ownership, and now have the early flat arches.
Sounds like a bit of juggling is needed to get the wheels on and off. But looks like I don't have an issue.
Appreciated.
