Has this been altered ?

When I bought my bus it looked as though no one had touched it for years. But the split Gaiters on the rear axle see to tell another story. Can anyone tell from this picture whether the gearbox casing has been ground out for a larger flywheel?

I’m no expert but I’d say no. On mine it has been taken back to almost the bolt holes.

I'd say that was factory as well.

Gearbox mount is fitted the wrong way around I think
But bell housing looks standard

Good spot thank you. I had just popped it on to keep it out of the way, but might well have done the bolts up without noticing!
