Thread size for fuel filter flap fixings?

Post by PIPKIN » Fri Jul 21, 2017 9:16 am

Hi,

Fixing a new long side panel to my 62 and need to weld in the nuts for the 2 bolts that hold the fuel filler flap.

Does anyone know the thread for the nuts and bolts?

Cheers

Paul
Restoring a splittie is like have the worlds biggest meccano kit but someone has thrown away the instructions.

Taken from this diagram: http://www.oacdp.org/5867part/423.png

The fuel flap is either 117 or 121, so whichever you have, the details for the fixings are on this page: http://www.oacdp.org/5867part/433.png

Hope it helps.
