Cable ties, crimps and a length of electrical cable are useful to carry.

fuel hose clips.
Timing gun
Battery jumper (the small pocket size one you can get now)
Or jump leads.
Clutch cable
Accelerator cable
Small can of WD40
Torque wrench for you wheels
AA card of similar
Mirror/light on extendable stick (this is awesomely useful)

Pair of overalls and either a bit of carpet or a rubber mat to kneel/lie on in case the ground is wet or muddy. I have an old rubber car mat that I keep behind the spare wheel.
Block of wood to either use as a chock or to roll the bus on to so you can get underneath without having to chance it on a jack. I have a bit of 4"x4" that's ideal for both.
12v voltmeter/multimeter.
