Cargo flooring recommendation.

Hi

I have Dynomat on the cargo area floor and am deciding on what to put on top .

Any advise/recommendations - weight issues:

Laminate flooring direct ontop - stuff is quite heavy?

or

Marine / external ply (recommended width?) with vinyl?

Any opinions welcome, cheers

Put some closed cell foam over the dynamat,i used this and also put it on the back of all my door and trim panels http://www.diy.com/nav/decor/flooring/f ... y-11577508.

On top of that 9mm ply and cover with what you like

Bar in mind that if you use a laminate flooring or similar every time you spill a drink on it that it will seep through the gaps and onto your cargo floor. Dunno about you but I don't fancy the idea of cola eating through my floor having seen what it does to your teeth and a 1p piece
Also we do a lot of surfing so there's always salt water dripping about as well.
I've gone for vinyl as that way it just puddles up and I can mop it/wipe it.

I applied non-slip kitchen vinyl flooring on top the last time I did mine.

An off cut from one of the local carpet warehouse places did me proud for about £30.

This took some wear & tear and never got slippy when coming in from a wet grassy field.

Sweeps well and cleans easy.
