Flat 4 Banjo wheel/ CE steering column.

Post by hopper van » Mon Mar 10, 2014 5:40 pm

Fitting a CE rack and pinion conversion and wanted to fit a Banjo steering wheel.
But, CE said they don't fit their columns very well, and they know of one boss coming off!
Too short over the splines, I believe...
Does anyone run this set up, who can comment on this, please?...

Hi, I'm running that set up and the only thing that is a problem is the play in the steering wheel, about an inch. I've tried different bosses but to no avail. I would be interested in if this is a common thing or just my set up. Saying all that its not a major problem and I am quite happy to keep the banjo wheel.
