mouse grey walkthrough

Post by ratty mullet » Sun Jul 07, 2013 2:35 pm

here she is
1964 walkthrough bus from new mexico, usa.

very straght solid bus in og paint, has been in storage for many year in the states so shes a real genuine survivor! all that needs to be done is the interior!
the underside of this bus is extremely good and in the original mouse grey paint, dont see these come up very often so dont be shy
all popouts are good and original to the bus.
all door and window rubbers have been replaced with new.
the only panel replaced is the outer sill under cargo doors and two small patches on cab floor.
drives, steers and brakes up lovely.
she needed very minimal work so she could hit the road, brakes have been overhauled.
1600tp engine

all thats left to do is the easy part, the interior. i can have a camping/day van interior fitted for a little extra.
i can also offer this lowered if thats your thing?? :D

i didnt want to be selling this one but have some plans so shes up for sale.

has full uk mot needs to be registered and your away.

£14995 this is a very good original unmessed with example so im reluctant to take any offer to far below the asking price i will consider early vw part exchanges, projects or on the road anything considered.

Its the letters on the badge that count, not how shiney they are or how far off the ground !!!!!!

I have one of these that I want to swap for such a bus like yours. This is a very rare find in that it is a very unmolested 51 split oval beetle. If you would care to talk about it please contact me on

I can vouch for the solidness of this bus. A really nice example at a good price.

Get involved peeps
