swap 1960 panel

Post by littlemark » Mon Oct 12, 2015 4:21 pm

Hi
I am thinking long and hard about getting shot of my bus. Its a 1960 dove blue double door panel van.i have owned it for just over a year and in that time its had front arches replaced, lower front panel replaced, belly pans and sills. Resprayed and new interior. Narrowed front beam and rear spring plates on American eagles. Front and rear safaris. 1600 twin port with 34 weber twin carbs with a vintage speed exhaust.
Ideally a swap for a window bus as I don't what to be without a bus...
I really am thinking as this is my dream bus but not really practical with a family.
Have got it insured for 20k to give you a rough idea to whats it worth..
any questions welcome and more pictures can be sent.
Thank you.....
sorry having trouble loading photos give me your email and I wil sent out if interested. ?

Swap out the cargo doors for window doors . Job done . It's not a crime if you keep the originals in the shed :)
Sent from HTC mobile using taptalk whilst doing a Jobby and browsing on here

What gumbo says is what I'm hoping to do with mines, once you've had double doors you'll never like single-siders the same!

Easy to do once you get the hang of it.
Easy on SSVC on the PC or on tapatalk. ..
Just read the blurb and do what it says. .
On tapatalk I post the words and then edit to attach the pics from my phone gallery. ..like this

Hi pokey
To be honest I would rather leave it as it is buddy. A bus with windows would be a more practical with my family. Just seeing if its of any interest to anyone but not the end of the world if nothing happens....
cheers
