There's a guy in the US who sells them on ebay, but it's pretty easy to make one. Link to the ebay listing and photos of the one that I made are in this link... viewtopic.php?f=5&t=124341

Genius - thanks! I'll see if anyone here has a spare, but if not, it looks like even my poor fabrication skills should be able to make one of those.

It's just getting to that time of year when carb heat makes a huge difference. Need to fix this, and my thermostat (which is broken in the flaps open position). Hopefully, with those two things in place, the engine shouldn't cut out at the traffic lights about 2 miles from home every morning (when the choke has gone off, but the engine hasn't warmed up yet)

Rhodrich

Let me know if you don’t get sorted. I’m just sorting some tinware to sell and I’m sure I have a couple of these in the pile.

Great stuff- I've sent you a PM Paul

It also turns out that In after the rear tinware to go with this size/ side preheat pipe too, if anyone has one. It turns out that the one I have is for a 1200, not 1500, and so is too narrow.

Many thanks
