Torvette Spaceway Bed making Tutorial (those that need it)

Post by type21f » Sun Jul 12, 2009 1:36 pm

This is for VW Devon walkthrough Torvettes (Torvette Spaceway)

Image

Firstly move the floor cupboard from behind the passenger seat (right hand drive versions) and place it next to the cupboard that is behind the driver's seat.

Image

Then take the front off the cupboard that's behind the driver's seat and place between the floor standing part of that cupboard and the rear floor cupboard. (This is the bit that foxes most people)

Image

Then use the day table to make the final part of the bed up.

Image

Then arrange the cushions to sleep on

Hey

Just found this thread through a image search on Google.

Whats supporting the in-fill in the walk through area, and where does the little box that makes up the rest of the area live normally?

If you still have the bus I'd be interested in seeing a few more pics of what is behind the driver/passenger (closest to the camera).

Any help would be awesome. These are the best pictures I've seen of how this interior works so far!

I'd love to see that bus in the flesh.
I have a torvette but sadly many bits are missing, so I'm not sure myself...
Do you have any pics of your own set up???
In the rear to the right of my wheel store there is a removable timber cover, does this fill the gap, sadly mines missing :(

I'm afraid my bus doesn't have a camping interior at all.

We're planning the best route to take to add one at the moment. The biggest problem being that its a 15 window walk thru, hence why this style of interior would work pretty well as we don't want to have a rock n roll bed in the end (2 small kids to accommodate too).
