The early Devontte had a side seat....
The later Devonette 1964 had a different front cupboard....straight up and no easicool or water tank and was cut off/ blanked off just where the Easicool fitted.....

I took that out of my first 64 samba...and cut it down to fit in my room. I know it was mine from the sticker marks and the far left that was a bit toasted from a heater.
Where is it now?

I took it out of the 64 as it was to high and i wanted to be able to jump over the bulkhead ( i have always envied WT)i put it on ebay back in 2005. that's interesting it was Devonette .
If it ever comes up where it went please let me know as i still know the owner of the van it came from now.
