Graham, FYI etienneverts interior is the exact same age as mine as he had the green water tank (discussed elsewhere).
I have a straight all chrome tap on the wardrobe and the angled plastic tap on the sink unit.

It may only be held on by 4 bolts; but one of them is a pain in the @ss to get to!

So the gas tap on the wardrobe, and the mounting clips on the front of the red topped '62 wardrobe... so doe stay mean the cooker can come out of its door cupboard and hang on the front of the wardrobe on pre-63 interiors?

Cheers! To all and one. LOL. My how the collective knowledge has increased...

Bent at the back
Straight at the front

Yes the cooker can be mounted on the pair of flushmount clips on the front of the wardrobe to use sitting facing the front of the bus fed by the straight outlet.

I would guess the angled gas outlet and hose can be used with the cooker sitting on the top of the sink unit or standing outside by the door.
Thanks monkeynuts!

Still looking.. Now have been given an OG chrome one ribbed with nozzle in line.. I have stripped off the copper pipe but the tap is seized solid and requires overhaul. I will strip this to relap and reseal with gas grease

Image

I also have a brass one with ribbed outlet like this one...

Image

I have also bought the two from Brian.. one with cut off base.

Would like to find a second with full base?

I have bought some modern non leaky rear entry footed versions.

ImageImage

I will get some discs machined in brass or steel to chrome plate to mount these with to make full bases.

vwjim posted this picture for information.
This shows a footed version with outlet pointing at 90 degrees but with missing knob!
Good security feature against little ones turning the tap on.LOL.
