Lost threads / seller contact details

Post by vwJim » Fri Oct 12, 2018 7:15 am

As the server crash / backup failure has lost all threads back to the middle of September, anyone that posted sale threads since that date would need to re-list the items.

That also means buyers have lost contact details, so if you're expecting to have items collected, then you'd need to make contact again. I for one was going to be collecting some items, but have no idea where from anymore...

Without meaning to be rude, these things happen.

Computers, servers, the t'interweb, cloud, and a wide of related stuff goes "bang" quite often.

The Split Screen Van Club is volunteer run, and you cannot expect "super-duper", first class service all the time.

Thanks

Miles.

Yep, just a shame the backup function wasn't working or the losses would of been less.
