Full custom Devon style interior - now with proper photos!

Post by lambretta » Wed Oct 04, 2017 11:15 am

Hi Folks.

This was made 3 years ago for us so we could get all 3 kids in the van, so we had a devon style bed made up in the middle using the seats and cushions, then had 2 kids over the engine bay and one in a hammock! It was tight like...

Anyway, they're too old/ big now and we've bought a coachbuilt so the splitty is being turned back into a microbus, hence the sale of the interior.

Included is pretty much everything other than the front seats, so all units, door cards etc. It has an overhead locker and as you can see the seats, fold away table and a small table in the door.

Everything is covered in a beige vinyl with an orange piping. I have the cards for the front footwell area as well. I will ultimately recover the front seats as well (although probably going to be a good year or so before that happens), so in theory the covers for them could be unpicked and used again? Not sure how practical that is... The door cards are matching beige but with an orange insert and chrome edging. I have the carpets for the cab as well and they're included. They're a biscuit weave with a black rubber edging.

It's in excellent condition, I think from memory there is a press stud that needs replacing on one of the straps holding a cushion in place, but that's about the only issue and will be easy to repair.

Anyway, cost me about £4500 all in from memory so looking for around £1400. I'm going to have one last drive in the van this weekend so I'll take a bunch of photos then I'm going to start to strip it for a full rebuild. I will take the interior out probably over the next few weeks and store it but would rather it was sold as soon as possible really.

Cheers
Julian

Covers can easily be removed from the frames to fit new ones..
So those could be included later
Do not need to be unpicked..

In that case - happy to include the front seat covers as well :-)

This is now out of the van and back up for sale.

Please note the eberspacher has been sold separately.

More photos below, any questions please ask!
The attachment locker.jpg is no longer available

The attachment doorcards.jpg is no longer available
The attachment bed.jpg is no longer available
The attachment locker2.jpg is no longer available
Note - there is a mark on the rear cushion over the engine bay as can be seen below, no idea what it is, but it isn't coming off... Can't say it would bother me there, but could be repaired if you wanted...

I'll let this lot go for £600 if someone can collect it soon... Sale of the Century!!!

Whitley Bay, east of Newcastle...

No distance from Liverpool ;-)

Thanks.
I'm in turmoil this is a ridiculous bargain I'll talk to my wife tonight and let you know one way or the other.
I can't believe this hasn't sold if I had a walkthrough model and hadn't already half built an interior I'd rip your arm off.
