I in turn paid a fairly high price tag for my latest bus. They're worth what someone is willing to pay, but as said previously there are buses that have been for sale for 12 months and haven't dropped their asking price which seems rediculous considering they're asking £60k+
Your bus was the one I let get away thinking about it, if something like it comes up again ill just go for it! Like I normally do.

My favourite phrase used to sell something is "rare"', which is then usually accompanied by a large price tag to boot.

Rare does not necessarily mean desirable. If you have a VW that is desirable then like everything else in this world you can expect to pay a premium. What I detest seeing is something that has the generic "rare" term used and an extra £5-10k on the price ticket.

All our vans are rare, just some more so than others and some more desirable than others.

Don't go there, Rolf tried it, Cliff's tried it, it's not worth the hassle in the long run.

On another note, bus prices....with sh1t ads, c'mon, you want top money for your bus, but your advert is crap.

A brief description, no photo's, and a link to another forum.

I say if its not properly listed with a price, decent description and a few photo's (maybe a link to photobucket or something similar also is acceptable as well as photo's) then the mods should warn, freeze then delete the post.

Tops price wanted for bus but not top advert.

See what you mean JK. My insurers just refused to an agreed value for mine of £16k. If rusty ones can go for £15 1/2, then it is a mad world.

Glad I didn't let it go a few months ago for £12.

Might put it up for £40 and see if it goes. Might sell those books for a few hundre each too, cos dey is scene, man.

Yep, no what you mean, take this for example ..........

viewtopic.php?f=51&t=105781

Complete with deluxe trim, and 4 bolt wheels in Carlos Fandango Arches ..........OK it is a RHD Devon but no pics of anything at all. This looks like a RHD that somehow ended up in the states and has now been bought back to Europe ? Can't see why anyone would want a RHD to look like something from the US ? Probably just me but i don't get it

It's ok now ......just had to vent that

I can better this !

up for grabs

what looks like a 72 cross over.
RHD
body work looks nice
flashy wooden steering wheel
looks like some money has been spent on some leather panels and the rear full width RNR (and thats it, just the RNR )

would you rather a 72 cross over with the above or a 23 window Samba ?

I kid you not !
