People's property and bad manners

Post by harryvonstacks »

Went to a cracking show this weekend " big Sunday" a really great show in all respects. However I parked my van up opened it for people to look around . Come back an hour later to find a bunch of kids poking my subs, and jumping in and out of the bus. When I ask politely " can you stop" I was met with a reply of" why fking bring it of you don't want people to look at it. Just answered your own question there luv. I want people to look not treat it as a bloody trampoline. Get some respect for other people's stuff.

I completely agree. It's the same reason that people drop litter on the floor, a fundamental lack of respect for their environment. They only understand one things, to be told to get lost!!

I probably would have answered something like "well I didn't expect some f*****g halfwit scutter to let her brood of equally f***wit morons jump all over it".
And that's the polite version.

Hope that no damage was done mate. I've only left mine open a couple of times and never had a problem but I make sure I put all manner of chords, tape and bungees across the door openings to stop people getting in.

I put my psychotic oversized spaniel in the van, he loves company :-),I do let people in my bus, but if they take the p, they are ejected. Never leave it open though if were not there

Yeah I thought of that reply but then realised I can't drive back a burning shell without wheels . Lol . Where do these mugs live on cloud 9 ? I might booby trap it next time with tear gas and a stun gun. No damage as I got there in time . I think they wouldn't be of place on Jeremy Kyle . Pikies

Yeah had the same this weekend at a classic car show.
Watched open mouthed as a whole family jumped in & out of my ambulance, jumped on all the seats, opened drawers etc. I wouldn't have minded if they'd asked, it's there to be enjoyed & is in a "well used" condition! Didn't see them jumping in any of the other classic cars that were there.
Time to invest in a velvet rope for the cargo doors!!

Had a little problem one year at the volksworld show, bus was on a stand, after having new seat covers, carpets and door cards fitted, the van was open so customers could veiw, stayed with the van most of the time.
But went for a wander, came back and found this old dear and her hubby sitting in it having a cup of coffee.
Didn't get too cross as no damage was done, see their faces when I said "would you like me to get you a bag of chips aswell??"

I agree I think we should hire you as the 'Bus Bouncer' lodge. We would all feel a little bit safer :)

In the meantime its Cargo Door rope for me :)

If you're in the bus there's no room for the rest of us anyway.
Good job yours has safaris or you would look funny pressed up against the glass
