Time wasters

Post by scottish splitty » Tue May 14, 2013 8:50 pm

Hi
Don't know if its just me,but recently I've had a few things for sale.(on various sites)
Lost count of the number of times someone has sent me a PM saying they want the part,or made an offer, that I accept but don't PM me back.
Ive even send saying if you really want it. I'll keep it for you, they reply saying they want it but never pay or get back to me
WHY....IF YOU DON'T WANT IT OR DONT HAVE THE CASH,DON'T MAKE AN OFFER,IF YOU WANT IT AND YOU HAVENT GOT THE CASH THE NOW,LET ME KNOW ILL KEEP IT FOR YOU.
JUST DON'T WASTE MY TIME.
That's better.

You are not alone!

I am not a hippy type person but occassionally I long to go back a few years in time where we had to speak to each other more and rely less on electronic communications.

I find dealing with any sale situation these days to be stressful as I get the same treatment as Scottish Splitty (say yes then disappear, don't bother to respond, ask silly questions or just don't bother to turn up).

The end result is that I won't sell and I keep it, gradually filling up my garage and becoming poorer! Could be worse I suppose but it does deprive other people of the chance.
