I would go to a different insurance company !
There are much easier options in my opinion.
I would have thought unless you are running on a "Q" plate that the standard lowering, brakes, engine mods etc are upgrades.
I have been told be a certain company that a respray was a modification and therefore my premium increased.
Needless to say I am not with that company.
RH insurance would be my recommendation, agreed value, breakdown cover, European cover. Great price premium too.
Good luck getting it sorted.

Yes I had to fill one in with a bug I had, the insurance company give you the form, its quite simple. Just gotta list the mods and who did them. All the mods were done before I bought the bug so I phoned the insurance and said I don't know when or who did the mods an they said just put that on the form, no other questions asked. Did seem stupid though

Im with towergate and you just fill in a form with the mods and improvements. Its works well I have 3 vehicles with them ranging from £15k to £25k all on agreed value with no inspections just pictures sent. I pay just over £500 for all 3 vehicles fully comp which I dont think is that bad for a London postcode.

I'm with Adrian Flux and have been for years. All,I do is send a three page list of everything I've done or had done on the bus. They stamp it, to acknowledge it and return it to me.
They said if I make a claim this proves that they know about everything on the bus.
And my list covers everything to cover the full Resto its had done.
Always better to tell them rather than wait till you make a claim.

Meant to add that even with all the pages, I still pay £159 for an agreed valuation of £24500.
Listing mods doesn't mean your premium will increase.

Adrian flux are based not that far away from me and I always try and support local business BUT not with them, rude, clueless, expensive and then don't listen to what your saying so your quotes are worthless.

Try Classic Line, have used them for over 10 years, my bus has agreed value, salvage rights, european cover 90 days, breakdown cover and unlimited mileage, no hassle with agreed value, just send photos and they do the rest, nice polite staff and a pleasure to give your money to.
