People that can't post pictures when selling something

Post by Rippers » Tue Nov 25, 2014 7:03 pm

Not just this forum but all forums..

Its not only the fact that they don't post pics.. its also the specific people that haven't learnt the ability to post pics and instead of admitting the fact.. they BS their way around it.. whilst I don't find it hard at all I can understand why people have problems posting pictures, so ask for help plenty of members would help don't feel embarrassed and kick off about it FFS!

Example Had a guy on VZI selling a Westy Towbar for a Latebay I was after.. no pics.. I ask for a pic and his reply was 'you know what a towbar looks like..'
He wanted me to drive two hours each way to pick up something without knowing what it looked like or what the condition was like or whether it was even a genuine Westy item. We all know that people have different standards of condition and some people over sell there items lol.. Seriously how long does it take to snap a pic

My first rant in the forum.. any good?

I think that's a promising start.

When you say a westie towbar, could you put up a picture of one so that we all understand what you mean.

I thought it was just me.. another guy on VZI was also advertising a Westy tow bar (without pics too!) he did email me pics but in his email wanted £70 more then what he advertised it for on VZI :? I called him up on it and he said don't buy it then.. crazy people.. What winds me up even more is when searching the same guy had it up for sale earlier in the year for £100 less.. very confusing and strange transaction

That's a whole other rant, parts and buses that dont sell but as prices go up in general so do what they are asking. If it didn't sell at the lower price then your heading the wrong direction with your valuation!

Well I for one have allways had a problem posting pictures, I've lost count of the times I've opened an account with some picture sharing site of one name or the other, I must have loads of pics floating around the universe.
I allways include my email and ask to mail me, I've never tried to sell anything not as described.
BUT, I do find a lot ask for a pic and it's the last you hear from them.....not a rant, just an apology for being a bit thick.....
And I do know what a west tow bar looks like..................I think :drunken:

You can also recover your photos in archives because these photos are not lost, in my opinion.
